Emotional processing and executive functions in gifted and talented students.
Palacio de Granda school, through a collaboration agreement with the Nebrija University and the Doctoral candidate Ana Fernández Mera, participates in a series of tests, as part of its research on emotional processing and executive functions in highly capable students.
The objective is to understand the emotional processing and executive functions in our younger students and to contrast if there are differences with respect to the rest of the students, which allow us to establish work methodologies in the development of talent.
The investigation consists of several tests: a test that allows a general estimation of the intelligence and g factor of the person evaluated; a battery of executive functions tests; a battery of emotional processing tests and executive functions training, after which results in previous tests will be taken again.
This Thursday, our student body participating in the research has carried out the first two batteries of tests.
